How long have you been doing CrossFit?

May, 2015

How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start?

I decide to start CF after I saw an Interview of CF founder Grey Glassman on 60 Minutes show.

Tell us about your fitness/sports background:

The only sports background I participated in was soccer for few years during High School year.

What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?

CrossFit has improved my fitness on every level. It’s taken my fitness to whole new level, I’m so much stronger and I think that is what I notice the most. I can lift more now than I have ever been able to in my life.

Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?

I’ve made great progress since I joined CF, seeing changes with myself and the athletes at this gym inspire me every day, encouraging and helpful.

In what other ways do you use your fitness?

I walk average 15k to 17k steps daily and lift heavy items at my job.

Please share with us a favorite CrossFit or No Excuses moment.

My first Muscle Up and coach Brandon recorded on the video.

Name one goal you would like to achieve in the next year (doesn’t have to be CrossFit related, but it can be)

Double Under, and a lot more, for now I just focus to get better and improve my weakness each class I attend.

Tell us about your hobbies and interests outside of the gym:

Outdoor Activity, like work on the yard, maintenance around the house and sometime volunteer work at Church.

What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting?

Consistently sticking with it, take it one WOD at the time, and don’t give up, don’t ever give up.

What do you love most about No Excuses?

The coaches are great and always push me to do my best., NECF Charity, NECF event, the community and location.
