How long have you been doing CrossFit?
How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start?
I FELT LIKE IT WAS AN AMBUSH REALLY. MY WIFE HAD TOLD ME ABOUT HAVING DINNER RESERVATIONS BUT IT WAS ALL A LIE! WE ENDED UP AT NO EXCUSES SIGNING UP.
Tell us about your fitness/sports background:
WELL, I’VE ALWAYS HAD A GYM MEMBERSHIP THROUGHOUT MY LIFE BUT I WAS NEVER FULLY DEDICATED ON WORKING OUT. REGULAR GYMS ARE SO BORING.
What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?
MY STRESS LEVEL IS COMPLETELY NULL AND I’VE STAYED AWAY FROM THE DOCTORS OFFICE SINCE I STARTED DOING CROSSFIT.
Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?
THE PERSON WHO MOTIVATES ME WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE TO BE MY WIFE. SHE’S BEEN THERE UNCONDITIONALLY FROM THE BEGINNING. WHAT ALSO KEEPS ME MOTIVATED, IS THE ENERGY I OBTAIN FROM WORKING OUT AND THE FACT THAT IT HAS DECREASED MY STRESS LEVEL TREMENDOUSLY.
In what other ways do you use your fitness?
IN MY SPARE TIME, I LIKE TO PRACTICE MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDING WITH MY FRIENDS.

AS A HOBBY, I LIKE TO COOK WITH MY FATHER-IN-LAW ON THE WEEKENDS. AS AN INTEREST, I’M FASCINATED WITH THE STOCK MARKET.
What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting?
MY BEST ADVICE FOR SOMEONE JUST STARTING CROSSFIT WOULD BE NOT TO FOCUS ON LIFTING HEAVY WEIGHTS SO MUCH BUT RATHER LEARNING A GOOD POSTURE SO YOU DON’T HURT YOURSELF IN THE PROCESS.
What do you love most about No Excuses?
WHAT I LOVE THE MOST IS THAT YOU ARE SURROUNDED WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT WASTING THEIR TIME BUT INSTEAD ARE FOCUS ON GETTING BETTER EVERY SINGLE DAY.
