How long have you been doing CrossFit? Since January 2023

How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start? “What initial got my attention was I watched the docuseries of the games on Amazon . Then once I got out of college and stopped playing baseball I needed some sort of competitive physical exercise to do. Thats when I found No Excuses.”

Tell us about your fitness/sports background: “I played baseball through college and then was looking for something to get involved in fitness wise when I found CrossFit.”

What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?: “I have gotten in a lot better shape. It also helps me to stay disciplined and to stick with a schedule.”

Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated? “Trying to get more fit everyday.”

Please share with us a favorite CrossFit or No Excuses moment. “I really enjoyed the Hugo this past year.”

Name one goal you would like to achieve in the next year (doesn’t have to be CrossFit related, but it can be) “I’d like to try and make it to the quarter finals of the open next year.”

Tell us about your hobbies and interests outside of the gym: “I enjoy working around the house and any time of renovation project.”

What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting? “Don’t scale double unders. Make yourself do them until you get them and then do them some more.”

What do you love most about No Excuses?* “I enjoy the community the most.”
