How long have you been doing CrossFit? (Since Month, Year): May 2022

How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start?:

In Kansas City I watched some CF’s pushing sleds & flipping truck tires in the back of a warehouse and thought it would something good to get involved with. I failed during my first attempt in trying CF in KC and lasted less than 3 months. I joined again NECF when I moved to GA and stuck with it so far.

Tell us about your fitness/sports background: Very limited – some Soccer, Hockey and Football. But was not athletic at all.

What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?:

Decrease in anxiety, I can carry 15+ bags of groceries at a time. I lost weight. I don’t feel as tired as I used to. I can walk up and down a few flights of stairs. The list goes on.

Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?:

My family, the members and coaches at No Excuses CrossFit.

In what other ways do you use your fitness?

Hiking, biking and lots of walking

Just show up and keep showing up.
