Kimberly Guthrie was very hesitant to do CrossFit Open 26.1 workout, which featured wall balls and box step ups with weights and heights that were heavier and higher than she’s used to doing in class.
That’s the great thing about The Open. It pushes us outside of our comfort zone and makes us do things we normally wouldn’t do on our own.
“She did something she didn’t think she could,” No Excuses CrossFit coach Christine Doran said.
Kimberly didn’t shy away from the heavier wall ball or the box step up in the masters scaled division. She posted an impressive score of 145, more than surpassing her expectations for the workout.
Congrats Kimberly on tackling the workout and doing great in the first workout of the CrossFit Open.
