Are you over complicating your life when trying to get your health and fitness back on track? Keeping it simple works so that you can continue throughout your life.
The 6 best ways to do that are:
• Establish a routine. It’s much easier to stay on track when it’s part of your normal daily routine. Sometimes that starts with writing it on a calendar.
• Nourish your body with whole foods and occasional treats that you enjoy.
• Stay hydrated. Keeping hydrated is not only good for reducing headaches and stress, but also keeps you from snacking endlessly sometimes.
• Sleep 7-9 hours. I know this might not be in the cards for some of the mamas out there, but focus on getting as many nights of quality sleep that you can.
• Self care. This can look like a massage, walk in the woods, or even just some quiet time to read. Do things each week that recharge your battery.
• Physical activity. Aim for 30 minutes of daily movement each day, whether it’s a class, personal training session, walk outdoors, yoga, pilates, or run.
