How long have you been doing CrossFit?
2 years back in college, then back at it since Jan 2019
How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start?
A really good friend in college and my small group leaders told me about it. They convinced me to try it, so I took a class and fell in love instantly.
Tell us about your fitness/sports background:
I’m a dancer, teacher, choreographer so cross-training is crucial. I love the challenge CF brings that is so different from the one in a studio or on a stage.
What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?
I love the routine it has put me in. I get up and get healthy right from the start of each day.
Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?
My 6am dudes keeping those early morning workouts doable.
In what other ways do you use your fitness?
I use the discipline it teaches me and apply to other areas.

I love hanging out with my family and friends. Love my church and supporting my fav sports teams on the weekends. (Hurry back football season)
What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting?
Just do it, you won’t regret it. The challenge is so rewarding.
