How long have you been doing CrossFit? July, 2024
How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start?
“I came across CrossFit while looking for a new fitness challenge. The mix of strength, cardio, and variety caught my attention, and once I tried it, I was hooked.”
Tell us about your fitness/sports background.
“I used to work out at the gym, but I would get bored doing the same routine. I’ve always liked staying active, but I wanted something that kept me more engaged.”
What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?
“Since joining No Excuses, I noticed a big boost in my energy and confidence. I feel stronger, more focused, and just overall more motivated both in and out of the gym.”
Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?
“The coaches at No Excuses are a big part of what keeps me coming back they push you, support you, and really know how to bring out your best. And honestly, the energy of the gym helps too there’s something about yelling through a tough workout that just keeps me fired up!”
In what other ways do you use your fitness?
“I use my fitness to stay active in daily life whether it’s carrying groceries, keeping up with my family and work, or enjoying outdoor adventures. CrossFit has also helped me feel more confident and mentally tough when life gets challenging.”
Please share with us a favorite CrossFit or No Excuses moment.
“One of my favorite CrossFit moments this year was doing Murph for the first time. It was brutal but the energy in the gym was insane everyone was pushing themselves, cheering each other on, and feeding off that collective drive.”
Name one goal you would like to achieve in the next year (doesn’t have to be CrossFit related, but it can be)
“One goal I would love to hit this year is feeling confident working out shirtless especially during tough workouts like Murph. It’s not just about looks, but about feeling strong, proud, and comfortable in my own skin.”
Tell us about your hobbies and interests outside of the gym:
“Outside of the gym, I’m all about spending time with family and trying new spots to eat. Whether we’re grabbing dinner or checking out a new place, I love sharing good food with people I care about. I also enjoy a little downtime, whether it’s watching a tv show or just relaxing. Balance is key, right?”
What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting?
“Just keep on coming to class and you’ll see results and feel amazing!”
What do you love most about No Excuses?
“What I love most about No Excuses is the vibe everyone’s there to crush it and have fun. No one’s letting you make excuses, but everyone’s got your back. It’s all about pushing limits, getting stronger, and laughing through the grind. It’s tough, but in the best way!”
