How long have you been doing CrossFit?: Since May of 2023
How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start?
CrossFit was one of the workouts that I had never tried and I saw that It was right by my job so I gave it a try.
Tell us about your fitness/sports background:
I didn’t play many sports growing up. I got into working out in my 20’s and tried it all… running, spinning, Zumba, yoga, etc. I was doing kickboxing for a few years before Crossfit and wanted more of a challenge.
What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?
I’ve gotten way stronger and I’m just a nicer, better person after I’ve worked out.
Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?
Trying to achieve a better version of myself keeps me motivated to keep coming back… to show up better for family & friends.
In what other ways do you use your fitness?
More energy to play with the kids and dog.

Vacationing, reading, watching tv, shopping, hanging out with family, friends and the fur baby.
What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting?
Just show up and take it day by day… before you know it 6 months have gone by and you’re doing it.
What do you love most about No Excuses?
The people & the community are great. Also, the fact that the exercises are already picked out for you and they change everyday so you don’t have to think much, just show up and do it!
