How long have you been doing CrossFit? (Since Month, Year): August 2024

How did you first discover CrossFit and what made you decide to start?

I was watching a Netflix show called Physical 100 and discovered CrossFit because the winner of the show was a CrossFitter.

Tell us about your fitness/sports background:

I did light workouts here and there, for example going to a conventional gym & Barre classes. But nothing really significant before CrossFit.

What sorts of positive changes (mental, physical, emotional) have you noticed in your life since getting involved at No Excuses?

I now see my body more from a functional lens instead of aesthetic standards. I love feeling & looking stronger!

Who or what keeps you coming back and motivated?

I love working out with my gym friends! Also my husband Kevin keeps me motivated.

In what other ways do you use your fitness?

It helps me to feel motivated and makes me feel like I can do anything with practice! It keeps me looking forward to a new challenge everyday!

I loved participating in CrossFit Open and cheering everyone on!

Doing a few consecutive strict pull up’s. + Finishing my first HYROX

Tell us about your hobbies and interests outside of the gym:

I like traveling, gardening and playing with my Cat, Cookie. I am also a big foodie I like to cook and try new restaurants!

What advice do you have for someone just starting CrossFit or is on the fence about starting?

Just try it for a couple months.

What do you love most about No Excuses?

I love the people & how everyone comes from different walks of life & fitness backgrounds. Anyone is welcomed here!💓
