SUWANEE — Snowy weather could not stop No Excuses CrossFit from celebrating nine years as an affiliate on Saturday with Birthday Bash IX, a fundraiser for North Gwinnett Co-Op.

The event, which was delayed an hour because of snowy weather conditions, featured 20 teams from eight different gyms in Metro Atlanta and raised more than $5,000 to provide Christmas gifts for 15 children and 10 seniors in the Suwanee, Buford, Sugar Hill community.

 

Deb’s Last Excuse from No Excuses CrossFit won the Competitor Division with 292 points. Deb’s Last Excuse placed first in WODs 2 and 3 and second in WOD 1. AxAt Savages from Axiom CrossFit was second with 270 points and Pure from CrossFit Pure was third with 260 points.

 

In the Social Division, Social AF from No Excuses CrossFit placed first with 292 points by placing first in two of the three WODs. Just For Fun from No Excuses CrossFit was second with 284 points and Ez Mac and the Mixed Bunch from No Excuses CrossFit tied for third with 240 points each.
