We’re excited to announce our July Nutrition Challenge! This month-long challenge is designed to help you stay on track with your fitness and nutrition goals, no matter where you are.

Challenge Dates: Tuesday, July 1 to Thursday, July 31

What You’ll Track:

Move: 30 minutes a day (CrossFit class, walk, hotel workout, bike, hike, swim, tennis, soccer, etc.). Bonus points for each workout to encourage you to come into the gym!

Eat: 70-100% of your body weight in grams of protein daily. For example, a 150-pound person should aim for 105-150g of protein, spread over 3-5 meals.

Drink: Half your body weight in ounces of water daily. For example, a 150-pound person should drink 75oz of water.

Sleep: 7 hours of quality sleep. No TV, no phone, lights out, in bed.

Scoring:

100% – 124 (31 x 4)

90% – 112

80% – 100

70% – 87

60% – 75

50% – 62

Goal: Achieve a score of 100 (80%) or better.

How to Participate:

Must post what you completed daily in the chat of ChalkItPro. You can’t post 7 days worth 1x a week. We are building consistency and habits. 

Use the chart in the gym to keep track of how you’re doing for the month by placing a star for each point you complete.

Kickoff Events:

Week of June 23-27: Body composition analysis

Saturday, June 29 at 10am – In-person kickoff meeting at the gym to cover the importance of each category, overcoming obstacles, realistic expectations for 30 days, and how to measure food.

FAQ:

• Do you recommend I eat anything in particular?

Lean meats, fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds.

• Is there anything I should not eat?

Avoid sugar and processed foods.

• Can I do this while on vacation or traveling?

Yes, this challenge is designed to be flexible and can be done anywhere.
