Mountain View’s wrestling team, which held its preseason conditioning at No Excuses CrossFit, took second place at the Warrior Classic at North Atlanta High School on Dec. 8.  The Bears finished a couple of points behind winner West Forsyth in the 14-team tournament.

Nine of the Bears’ wrestlers placed at the tournament, led by Adam Flatt (106 pounds), Kacey Gutierrez (138) and Sterling Pyles (152) taking first in their weight classes.

Kevin Truglio (113), Kenny Cook (120) and D.J. Schrenk (145) finished second, and Tony Torres (132), Jake Gandara (160) and Octavian Jarda (182) each took third.
