The CrossFit Open is less than a month away and No Excuses CrossFit has set up two Friday evenings to help you be prepared for the Open. The first is an Open prep strategy and the second is an injury prevention and mobility workshop. Both are free for No Excuses CrossFit members.
If you are new to CrossFit or have no idea what the CrossFit Open is, ask a coach or a member. To register for the CrossFit Open, go to CrossFit Games web site.
What: Open prep strategy

Learn tips and tricks to help you be more efficient during the CrossFit Open. We will go over the most common movements from the past Open’s and discuss strategy on how to approach the movements. How should you break up the reps? How do I keep my barbell from bouncing all over the place? How do I pace the workout? The class will feature some discussion and movement, but there will be no WOD.
What: Injury prevention and mobility workshop
When: Friday, Feb. 17

4:00-4:30 – WOD (something in the 8-12 minute range)
4:30-5:30 – Injury prevention
5:30-6:00 – WOD (something in the 8-12 minute range)
