Each year at the CrossFit Games, they honor someone with the Spirit of the Games award. This honor goes to the ‘athlete who embodies the spirit of the sport.’

Each week during Friday Night Throwdown, No Excuses CrossFit will recognize a member it feels represented the Spirit of the Games. This week’s honor goes to ….

Michelle Lomax dedicated several hours to judging athletes during Friday Night Throwdown. She also performed really well in workout 19.1 by challenging herself to the Rx version of the workout with a 20-pound wall ball.

“She is always cheering everyone, even people from other teams,” No Excuses CrossFit coach Yessica Rojas said. “Plus she always offer to judge a lot on Friday and Sunday.”
