Each year at the CrossFit Games, they honor someone with the Spirit of the Games award. This honor goes to the ‘athlete who embodies the spirit of the sport.’

Bill Bozeman is no stranger to the Open. This is his sixth year competing in it and he continues to improve every year, including a new 1-rep max clean personal record in 20.4  But what sets Bill apart from others is his willingness to help. Whether it’s to judge, change weights, or strategize, Bill is always willing to lend a helping hand. 

“Bill works hard, he is consistent, he does extra accessory and assistant exercises in conjunction with the class. And, he is easy to coach, he listens and is genuinely interested in learning the right way to do something to increase his performance,” No Excuses coach Michael Blair said.
