Emily Stalling hit a CrossFit milestone during 18.3 — she got her first pull-up. While warming up for 18.3 she attempted a pull-up and then got two more. If that wasn’t exciting enough, she went on to get 22 of them during the workout. That’s one of the wonderful things about the Open. The excitement and pressure pushes us to do things we never thought we could do.

“She was really excited about getting her first pull up!,” No Excuses CrossFit coach Laura Mattison said. “She came over to me to let me know! I think it’s great that she is so new and decided to do Friday Night Throwdown anyways and pushed herself. I think she PR’d her clean last week too.”
